Screen Shot 2018-02-07 at 16.30.01We are poignantly in a naughties resurgence that shows it’s low rise, logomania, embellished persona every once in a while. If you had the chance to experience the early ’00s even like a teenager (like moi) you may recall the dressed up jeans trend. Those party jeans are gaining back their reputation as enviable LBD alternatives. Emily Ratajkowski certainly thinks so. She sported a pair of straight legged denim jeans with ripped hems with an ethereal silky embroidered kimono by The Kooples to add a bit of glam to the outfit.

She wanted to add a bit more definition and sparkle to her evening look so she placed a pearl and crystal belt around her waist. She put her hair in a half – up Bardot-esque do for the ultimate effortless sexy result. She finished off the look with a pair of black heeled sandals and a leopard print bag.

For a more comprehensive evening look that is customised for the 2018 street style, go for a sequinned black rollneck, and pair it with a belt over the knee black boots and a bright coloured tote bag. This winter is all about celebrating and there’s nothing more celebratory than a top that sparkles!

If you’re not into glitter then opt for a statement top that does all the talking alternatively. For example, choose an off the shoulder ruffled top and pair it with mules and a cute leather clutch. It’s both gravitating yet unbearably chic.

For an authentic throwback channel your inner Victorian and go for the appropriate volume sleeved shirt, soft leather mules and an embroidered drawstring bag.
